What data we collect and why

When you use the quote basket and enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: name, company (optional), email, phone (optional), website (optional), your service selection, and any free-text message. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and, if you go on to become a client, to deliver the agreed work. The legal basis is your consent (given via the required checkbox before submission) and, where an enquiry proceeds to a contract, the performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

When you contact us directly by phone or email, we process the information you send us for the same purpose — replying to you — on the same legal basis.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and Google Analytics

This site uses only two categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies (always active): store your basket contents, your language preference, and your cookie consent choice. These are necessary for the site to function and don't require consent under German/EU law (§ 25(2) TTDSG).
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): used only if you actively opt in via the cookie banner or the Cookie Policy page. GA4 is not loaded, and no analytics cookie is set, until you give consent. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer, and your choice is remembered for future visits.

Where GA4 is used with your consent, Google may process data outside the EU/EEA; IP anonymisation is applied where the tool supports it. Full detail on what's stored is in the Cookie Policy.

Hosting and server log data

Our website is served by a third-party hosting provider. Each time you visit, the hosting server automatically records technical log data — your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time of the request — for the sole purpose of operating and securing the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This log data is not combined with any other data we hold about you, and is retained only as long as necessary for technical operation and security, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiry and contact data: kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if a client relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by German commercial and tax retention law (typically up to 10 years for invoicing records). Enquiries that don't lead to a client relationship are deleted after a reasonable follow-up period, and sooner on request.
• Analytics data (GA4, consent-based): retained per Google's standard GA4 retention settings; you can withdraw consent at any time, which stops further collection.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data, where there's no legal reason for us to keep it.
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability, where technically feasible.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — see below.
